CELEBRATING ROCKIT/BROOKDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE PARTNERSHIP
The Rockit Live Foundation is New Jersey's leading rock band program for young musicians, ages 8-18. Rockit, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, helps nurture, inspire and enrich the lives of young musicians through live music education partnered with the Count Basie Theatre in the heart of Red Bank New Jersey. Rockit also provides professional development and music scholarships while emphasizing the importance of community charity efforts. The Rockit All-Stars have performed classics such as Who's Next, Dark Side of the Moon, Woodstock, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and many more. Rockit Advisory Board members, Maureen and Steven Van Zandt, Carmine Appice, Eddie Brigati, Susan Brigati, Ricky Byrd, Jacquie Lee, Rich Russo and Mark Weiss lend their talent and support to a cause they keep close to their hearts. Rockit alumni having gone on to tour with Steve Vai, perform with Keith Urban, sing on Broadway and become finalists on The X-Factor and NBC's The Voice. For more info, visit rockitacademy.org.
